HOW DOES THE DESIGN CENTER SITE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM YOU?
The Design Center will always collect your personal information by fair and lawful means. We may collect personal information from you through our web site, email or service warranty enquiries or as otherwise permitted by law.
WHAT IS PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Personal Information is any information that is identifiable with you. This information may include but is not limited to your name, mailing address, phone number, gender, email address, identification numbers, etc. Personal information, however, does not include your name, business title, or business address and business telephone number in your capacity as an employee of an organization.
DOES THE DESIGN CENTER COLLECT OR USE INFORMATION COLLECTED FROM YOU WITH TECHNOLOGY?
The Design Center Site collects some information about you using technology, so it may not be readily apparent to you that it is being collected. For instance, when you come to our site your IP address is collected so that we know where to send the information you are requesting. An IP address is often associated with the place from which you enter the internet like your Internet Service Provider (ISP), your company or your university. This information is not personally identifiable. The Design Center Site uses information collected through technology to make our Site more interesting and useful to you.
WHAT ARE COOKIES?
The cookie tracks the total number of visitors to our site in an “aggregate” form (in other words, the personal information of the individual is pooled into a group of such information such that the personal information cannot be identified with that individual). We do not extract personal information in this process nor do we disclose this information other than to authorized The Design Center employees or to our marketing agency of record. Cookies are a tool to allow us to update and improve our sites.

Some of the primary purposes for which we collect your personal information are to respond to warranty/service requests and response to product information requests. We may also use your personal information as otherwise permitted by the law.
TO WHOM WILL THE DESIGN CENTER PROVIDE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We identify to whom, and for what purposes we disclose your personal information at the time we collect such information from you and obtain your consent to such disclosure. For example, we may disclose your personal information:
- To third party service providers of The Design Center, with whom we have a contractual agreement, which include appropriate privacy standards which may include fulfilling order requests and other customer services.
- Such other disclosures of personal information to such persons for which you provide your consent.
- As otherwise permitted by the law.

WHAT TYPE OF SECURITY DOES THE DESIGN CENTER PROVIDE?
The importance of security for all personal information collected through the web site is of utmost concern to us. We have taken technical, contractual, administrative and physical security steps to protect the personal information collected from you on The Design Center website with a level of security appropriate to the sensitivity of the personal information collected. These security measures are periodically reviewed. However, there are some things users can do to protect the security of their personal information as well. For instance, each user should never give out their password. Also, every user should sign out of their internet account and close their browser window when they finish surfing the Web so that other people using the same computer won’t have access to their information.
